About The Position

Hillyard, Inc. is currently taking applications for an Account Manager for our Sales team in the Greater Lexington KY area. This role involves promoting and selling products/services to existing and prospective customers using a relationship-based, consultative approach. The Account Manager will demonstrate products and services, assist customers in selecting the best solutions to meet their needs and lower their total cost to clean. This position requires planning and organizing personal sales strategy to maximize return on time investment for the territory, developing clear and effective written presentations/proposals/quotations, and attending monthly sales meetings, seminars, trade shows, and conventions. The role also involves effectively using a CRM program to manage pipeline targets and document sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Prior outside business to business sales experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a high consideration for detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a group environment.
  • Proficient computer skills working with various office equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • 4-year Bachelors Degree preferred.

Responsibilities
