Solenis is a 2025 Best Managed Company Gold Standard honoree. As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will be managing two large accounts in Massillon. The primary focus is to maintain stability and grow business by creating value with our chemical programs and technical services. One account has well established business. At the other account we recently gained business and are growing with a very large growth potential. Additionally, you will have a technician supporting both mills. You will be involved in helping to direct the technician. There is also an experienced rep, and area manager who will be assisting with Massillon.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Science, engineering, or other technical degree). Would consider experience in lieu of a technical degree.
  • Several years of industry experience (pulp and paper or water treatment preferred)
  • Experience selling chemicals in the pulp and paper industry or other significant paper industry experience.
  • Drive for results and continuous improvement of safety and chemical programs.
  • Experience working with multi levels in an organization to achieve results
  • Good communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
  • Ability to document and present product and service value to the customer
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Analytical ability and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Office ability (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Managing two large accounts in Massillon.
  • Maintain stability and grow business by creating value with chemical programs and technical services.
  • Directing a technician supporting both mills.
  • Assisting with Massillon accounts with an experienced rep and area manager.
