About The Position

We are expanding our commercial team and are seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive profitable, sustainable growth within our vinegar portfolio, with a primary focus on Fleischmann’s Vinegar. Reporting to the Commercial Vice President, this role is a key contributor within a high‑performing, collaborative sales organization dedicated to Kerry’s liquid vinegar business. The Account Manager will be responsible for growing existing accounts while also identifying and closing new business opportunities across ingredient markets. This position works closely with Kerry’s front‑line sales teams and cross‑functional partners, with the ultimate goal of delivering long‑term, value‑driven growth for the vinegar portfolio.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of B2B Account Management experience within the Food and/or Beverage industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to execute seamlessly in a team‑based environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong active listener
  • Accountable, self‑motivated, curious, and able to influence others effectively
  • Customer‑focused mindset with a genuine desire to support teammates and customers
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in negotiations, pricing discussions, and account profitability
  • Solid analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Willingness and ability to travel 40–50% across North America

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an assigned territory, driving both volume growth and profitability
  • Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities through Fleischmann’s value proposition in ingredient markets
  • Proactively defend and grow existing business
  • Build strong customer relationships across Procurement, Supply Chain, R&D, and Plant Operations
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the liquid vinegar market, including customers, competitors, labeling and legislation, manufacturing processes, and quality standards
  • Develop a working knowledge of Kerry’s broader portfolio, identifying cross‑selling opportunities where relevant
  • Serve as a strong internal connector, aligning customer needs with Kerry’s sales strategies and growth targets
  • Collaborate closely with Fleischmann’s Customer Care, Sales colleagues, Supply Chain, Transportation, and R&D/Product Management teams
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with Fleischmann’s leadership on sales performance, pipeline development, and KPIs
  • Proactively manage accounts by anticipating issues, addressing risks early, and exceeding customer expectations
  • Lead pricing discussions and negotiations in collaboration with Commercial Finance and Fleischmann’s leadership
  • Manage and execute sales contracts, ensuring accurate phasing, forecasting, and execution.
