About The Position

Quadra is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to drive business development across key markets in Texas and the Northeastern U.S. (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio). This full-time permanent role, ideally based in Dallas, TX, or within the specified Northeastern markets, focuses on managing and expanding business within an assigned territory. The position involves balancing strategic new business development with strengthening existing customer partnerships. The ideal candidate is an energetic, motivated, and experienced B2B sales professional with a proven track record in the food ingredients industry, who thrives on achieving results, creating customer value, and growing market presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce or Science (Food Science, Biology would be a strong asset)
  • At least 5+ years of experience in client prospecting and business development within the food distribution or food manufacturing space
  • Demonstrated success in sales within the Food Industry, with a proven track record of driving growth and retaining customers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple priorities, identify opportunities, and deliver effective solutions.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while embracing new technologies and situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools (Salesforce experience preferred).
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, including overnight and international travel.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport required.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in product formulation and Food Science background would be an asset but not required

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by developing new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and industry networking.
  • Leverage Quadra’s reputation for service excellence to build strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
  • Qualify customer needs, present tailored solutions, and sell Quadra’s superior product line through customer visits, joint calls, and industry events.
  • Manage and expand key customer accounts, ensuring alignment with Quadra’s core values and strategic vision.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales and margin targets by balancing new business development with customer retention.
  • Support customers with troubleshooting, optimization opportunities, and after-hour needs as required.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring requirements are integrated and executed effectively.
  • Deliver professional presentations, proposals, and reports with strong communication skills.
  • Provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on sales activities, pipeline, and results.
  • Conduct business in a disciplined, organized, and time-efficient manner to maximize customer engagement.
