About The Position

VJ X-Ray LLC is the global leader in developing and manufacturing integrated x-ray sources and high voltage generators. Our mission is to be uncompromising in pushing the boundaries of component design and manufacturing for every OEM partner. A results-driven VJX Account Manager will have a thorough understanding of VJX products and the ability to manage customer relationships. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are critical in achieving and/or exceeding customer and company expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of two (2) years of technical sales or sales administration experience in an OEM environment
• Ability to conduct business in-office from Bohemia, NY location
• Ability to potentially travel domestically and internationally – up to 20% of the time
• Willingness to learn and the ability to thrive in a technical environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional collaborative team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts with strict attention to detail
• Well established verbal and written communication skills
• Superior presentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Will need to successfully pass a complete personal background check and drug screenings

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical/engineering discipline
• Three to five (3 to 5) years of directly related experience
• Experience and/or knowledge of Sales, Marketing or Applications Engineering within technology industries, preferably in instruments, electronics or capital equipment
• Experience using Salesforce Software or another CRM platform
• Ability to read schematics
• Experience using an ERP system (Global Shop Solutions)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continue to build existing relationships with OEM customers by making regular contact by telephone, virtual meetings and in-person visits
• Act as primary point of contact for customers and resolve customer issues quickly and effectively
• Identify potential new business opportunities through inside sales activities, upselling and presenting new products to existing customers
• Attending related industrial trade shows, conferences and exhibitions, as needed
• Participate in creating and conducting technical presentations for current and/or potential customers
• Assist sales management to develop and execute sales plans to achieve objectives regarding revenue, profitability and market share
• Maintain data and reporting analytics per company requirements
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering team and operations team to ensure current and future market requirements are thoroughly understood
• Follow all VJX and OSHA workplace safety requirements and policies
