About The Position

Account Managers are responsible for the day-to-day campaign delivery, ensuring work progresses proactively, clients are kept informed, and campaigns are executed on time and within budget. They possess strong attention to detail, are self-starters, and solution-oriented, with a solid understanding of their clients' businesses. They are adept at identifying creators, trends, and industry updates that may affect clients and are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. Their role involves ensuring the smooth execution of creator marketing programs, offering expertise in social media and the influencer/creator space, and staying current with market trends, the creator network, and compliance. They are expected to critically evaluate content quality, ensuring creator executions align with agency standards and performance metrics. Account Managers represent the best of the agency, foster a positive environment, and contribute culturally. They build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and creators, and actively seek opportunities to enhance the experience for their team and clients.

Requirements

  • Being a chief negotiator - working with Senior Account Executives/Account Executives to secure the best rates in line with budgets, deliverables, and contract terms to drive agency profitability and ensure agency security.
  • You’ll bring fresh & unique stimulus to the team helping inform briefs and drive the work forward.
  • Creative guardian - reviewing and confidently providing feedback on creative (creative team/Influencers) to check alignment with a client brief and campaign objectives to ensure effectiveness.

  • You can build strong internal and external relationships by being the go-to person across all parts of the process.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the smooth execution of creator marketing programs for our clients on time, within budget and on brief.
  • Offer knowledge and expertise in the social media and influencer/creator space and keep on top of market trends, the creator network and compliance - sharing this knowledge with their direct team and wider agency.
  • Have a critical eye for knowing what good content looks like and ensure creator executions stay aligned with BDB’s approach and performance metrics.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with their client peers and creators as well as seek out opportunities to enhance the experience of their team and their clients.
  • Understanding the functionality of social platforms, formats and the latest trends.
  • Share knowledge and thought leadership, relevant to specific clients & industry at large for individual and agency growth.
  • Be curious about the industry & beyond, technology, consumers, culture, the client and products.
  • Responsible for leading the identification or casting, outreach and managing of relationships with influencers (creators) and ambassadors.
  • Provide recommendations and rationale to sell through with clients.

  • Ensure thorough influencer due diligence and data authenticity and flag any issues and recommendations to the client.
  • Recruit relevant influencers for campaigns and manage content creation through to publication ensuring alignment with brief & client goals.
  • Organise and see through influencer agreements with approval from Account Director.
  • Be a main point of contact for clients - build trusted relationships with clients throughout a campaign and managing expectations.
  • Be solution-focused, make recommendations, flag risks, distil talent troubles and client concerns.
  • Familiarise yourself with the client's business and commercial performance and competitors.
  • Immerse yourself in the clients sector.
  • Support inter-agency team and external agency partners in creating seamless and productive relationships both with internal strategy, creative teams in-house and within partner agencies.
  • Meet with clients regularly, get to know them and their work.
  • Manage the day-to-day running of your accounts.
  • Drive the process on small to midsize campaigns; strategy, creative ideation, influencer management (selection, outreach and negotiation, contracting) production and reporting.
  • Contribute in ideating with creative teams and clients.
  • Contribute to strategic conversations and will be able to translate client feedback and accurately brief creatives.
  • Set agendas, lead status meetings, ensure contact reports are accurate and sent out.
  • Feed into PM plan requirements on project resources and internal timings.
  • Anticipate the next steps so they can pull in the relevant resources and support.
  • Write inspiring Creative Influencer Briefs inline with creative ideas and best practise (incl. all mandatories) gaining client and legal team sign off.
  • Be a creative guardian - review and confidently feedback on creative (creative team/Influencers) to check alignment with client brief and campaign objectives to ensure effectiveness.
  • Quality control of all creative content against guidelines and AD disclosures.
  • Manage the distribution strategy of content i.e. Content calendar to give it the best chance of performing.
  • Build post campaign reports (PCAs) with objectives, accurate data and analysis, share learnings and recommendations.
  • Seek the clients written approval throughout the campaign process.
  • Be highly organised with strong attention to detail, keep the project manager looped in & updated on timing issues.
  • Plan ahead with delays.
  • Document actions and progress and keep work folders up to date.
  • Liaise with the project manager on the financial aspects of the campaign/s from talent budgeting to reconciliation.
  • Check Influencer contracts and costs are approved before work commences.
  • Keep Companion, project trackers and third party expenses up to date.
  • Driving accurate time reporting across the account and flagging any risk to scope before it occurs.
  • Provide regular feedback opportunities through wash ups and influencer feedback forms.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff members, support their integration into the agency.
  • Champion good work.
  • Build internal relationships and have a full understanding of each department's remit.
  • Manage upwards, keep senior members of the team always aware of campaign status and performance.
