We are looking for our next Account Executive to join our Business Development team at our Québec City office!

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
  • Comfortable communicating in both French and English with clients, prospects, and colleagues across Canada and the United States.
  • Knowledge of customs brokerage, transportation, logistics, or international trade.
  • Strong customer-service approach, excellent listening skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships based on trust.
  • Autonomous, proactive, and able to make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, resilience, and perseverance in achieving your objectives.
  • Comfortable using computer tools, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and a CRM.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and priority-management skills.
  • Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree in sales, administration, international trade, or any other related field.
  • A CIFFA, CSCB, IATA, or other relevant certification in the transportation and customs field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities for our Québec market and surrounding regions through prospecting, networking, and representation activities, both in person and virtually.
  • Analyze the needs of current and potential clients in order to propose tailored solutions in Canadian and U.S. customs brokerage, customs consulting, courier services, and North American and international transportation, including ocean and air freight.
  • Build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with existing clients and prospects, while identifying opportunities for additional sales.
  • Prepare pricing, write business proposals, and present clear, professional, and compelling quotes.
  • Work closely with the customs operations, transportation, and other internal teams to ensure an effective response to client needs and requirements.
  • Manage existing accounts effectively, monitor client performance, document activities and opportunities in the CRM, and prepare weekly sales activity reports
