The Account Manager will work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to provide oversight of EMS's daily and long-term objectives regarding specified customers. This role is responsible for driving sales growth by achieving or exceeding annual budgeted sales for assigned accounts, while proficiently negotiating and managing contracts and purchase agreements. The Account Manager will also qualify leads by assessing customer needs and determining if the opportunity is a good fit for the company’s products or services, and maintain accurate customer and project information within a CRM system. This position involves managing the opportunity funnel, helping to secure project wins, learning and executing the EMS customer support process, and providing insights for improvement to enhance customer experience. Additionally, the role may involve creating and maintaining a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) system, ensuring timely reporting as per customer requests, and developing strong relationships with key personnel within assigned accounts. The Account Manager will also support the EMS Quality Policy and Quality Objectives and perform other duties as assigned.
