About The Position

At Focal Pointe, we design, install, and maintain exceptional commercial landscaping and outdoor environments throughout the Midwest. From office campuses and healthcare facilities to HOAs, apartment communities, retail centers, and commercial properties, we help our clients create landscapes that are beautiful, welcoming, and professionally maintained year-round. We're looking for an Account Manager who is passionate about customer service, relationship management, and helping clients care for their commercial landscapes. This is not a high-pressure sales position. It's a relationship-driven role for someone who enjoys taking care of people, solving problems, and helping clients maintain beautiful outdoor environments. You don't need landscape design experience. You do need to enjoy helping people, taking ownership, and creating an outstanding client experience.

  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and walking commercial properties in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using computers, mobile technology, and cloud-based software.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Building long-term relationships with commercial property managers, HOA managers, apartment communities, facility managers, and business owners.
  • Visiting commercial properties to inspect landscaping, horticultural health, irrigation systems, and overall outdoor appearance.
  • Proactively identifying concerns and working alongside Operations Managers to ensure every property meets Focal Pointe's quality standards.
  • Coordinating solutions that improve customer satisfaction and strengthen long-term partnerships.
  • Recommending landscape enhancements, seasonal color, horticultural improvements, irrigation upgrades, and property improvements that increase curb appeal and property value.
  • Leading annual budget planning meetings with clients to discuss landscaping improvements and long-term outdoor maintenance goals.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts while delivering responsive, professional customer service.
  • Partnering with field teams to ensure exceptional execution and communication.
  • Representing Focal Pointe professionally throughout the community and at networking events.
