A leading developer in the global automation market, Pepperl+Fuchs is looking for a hardworking, ambitious individual to fill an immediate need for a result driven Account Manager with a strong background in industrial automation sales for our Factory Automation Division in Wisconsin. As a Pepperl+Fuchs Account Manager, you will be responsible for the sales activities within existing accounts while provided the freedom to pursue new accounts. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with industrial automation sales.
  • Desire to grow professionally.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience selling in one of the following markets: Original Equipment Manufacturing, Automotive Manufacturing, Material Handling Machinery, Autonomous Vehicle Technology, IIoT Industry 4.0, Packaging Machinery, Mobile Equipment, Semiconductors/electronics industries.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and new accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities at these accounts as well as new accounts.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer applications and provide consultative solutions using Pepperl+Fuchs products.
  • Collaborate with internal product management and market teams to support customer solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, territory plans, and activity reports.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitor activity.
  • Willingness to travel across the state of Wisconsin on a daily/weekly basis as business dictates.
