The Account Manager role is responsible for supporting new business development, including prospecting, product development, and sales execution. This position will assist with customer sales contract negotiation, performance, and risk management, and lead company sales and service to support bakery customers. The role requires providing exceptional customer service through responsive and thorough communication, handling customer service inquiries, and meeting with customers regularly to ensure quality and service expectations. Building genuine customer relationships for longevity is key. The Account Manager will also provide technical support to bakery managers to optimize product selection and performance, communicate flour quality parameters, and provide weekly reports on business activities. Additionally, this role will assist the transportation and accounting teams, lead the customer response team, and ensure compliance with food manufacturing and product regulations. A willingness to engage wheat growers for the sustainability team and learn agronomic basics is also part of the role.
