About The Position

Willdan Energy Company, part of Willdan Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: WLDN) is seeking a talented and experienced individual to fill the role of Account Manager. This position is remote and will travel up to 50% of the time within MA and NH. This position will be eligible to obtain commission in addition to an annual salary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Business, Energy Efficiency, Engineering, Sustainability, Communications or related disciplines with 1+ year(s) professional experience in energy efficiency, building sciences, HVAC, Account Management and/or related experience. OR High School Diploma with 5+ years professional experience in energy efficiency, building sciences, HVAC, Account Management and/or related experience.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders while delivering excellent customer service in a highly dynamic growth environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, evolving, entrepreneurial work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of local laws and energy conservation codes preferred.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency and US or applicable state policies on energy efficiency state TRM's preferred.
  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices and technologies preferred.
  • Experience working on successful energy efficiency programs, with specific expertise in energy efficiency technologies and products (especially Small and Mid-Sized energy-efficiency measures) preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with key market actors in the industry including utility client customers, architects, engineers, contractors, non-profit officials, public officials and other market actors and stakeholders, as necessary to achieve project goals preferred.
  • Experience with the Trade Allies working on energy efficiency programs in the Northeast or building relationships with trade allies in similar markets preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Driving and supporting participation in Commercial Energy Programs.
  • Administrative overview for multiple utility partner programs.
  • Provide sales support on larger projects facilities via C-Suite, facility managers and other key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for developing and closing sales with small and mid-sized business customers within the context of utility-sponsored incentive programs and well as multi-family building programs.
  • Onboarding new contractors to add to the existing contractor network.
  • Consulting with the existing contractor network within the territory.
