About The Position

The Account Manager (AM) and Senior Account Manager (SAM) manage the day-to-day service and execution of an assigned book of business on the Alternative Risk team. Both roles own the operational client experience and partner with Producers, Account Executives, and other internal partners to support new business, renewals, implementations, and ongoing account service. The AM independently manages assigned accounts with minimal supervision. The SAM manages larger and more complex accounts with minimal to no assistance, brings deeper technical and coverage knowledge, and serves as a resource and mentor to less experienced Account Managers. Both levels are responsible for service execution, account administration, carrier coordination, documentation, and follow-through. They combine technical expertise, proactive client service, organization, and accountability to handle client relationships accurately, efficiently, and professionally. They anticipate client needs, manage priorities and deadlines, and build relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal partners. The Account Manager generally manages a book of business ranging from $750,000 to $1 million in revenue, depending on account complexity and assigned responsibilities. The Senior Account Manager generally manages a book of business ranging from $1.2 million to $1.5 million or more in revenue, depending on account complexity and assigned responsibilities. The SAM independently manages the full client service timeline, exercises sound judgment on complex matters, and helps develop the capabilities of less experienced team members.
