The Account Manager (AM) and Senior Account Manager (SAM) manage the day-to-day service and execution of assigned business on the Alternative Risk team. Both roles own operational delivery of the client experience and partner with Producers, Account Executives, and other internal partners to support new business, renewals, implementations, and ongoing account service. Account Managers independently manage assigned accounts with minimal supervision. Senior Account Managers bring deeper technical and coverage knowledge, manage larger and more complex accounts with minimal to no assistance, and serve as resources and mentors to less experienced Account Managers. Both levels take ownership of service execution, timelines, account administration, carrier coordination, documentation, and follow-through. They combine technical expertise, proactive client service, organization, and accountability to handle client relationships accurately, efficiently, and professionally. They anticipate client needs, manage competing priorities and deadlines, and build strong relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal partners. Account Managers generally manage an assigned book of business ranging from $750,000 to $1 million in revenue, depending on account complexity and assigned responsibilities. Senior Account Managers generally manage a book ranging from $1.2 million to $1.5 million or more in revenue, depending on account complexity and responsibilities. Senior Account Managers independently manage complex accounts and the full client service timeline, exercise sound judgment on complex matters, recognize when to escalate issues, and help develop less experienced team members.
