As an Account Manager, you hold a strategic position with the business units you represent. Your knowledge of process industries enables you to influence professional users and decision-makers and to handle high levels of complexity. Your ability to clearly communicate the value of our premium offering makes you a key player in the sale of engineered products and solutions to existing accounts. You are recognized as determined, organized, persistent, honest, and results-oriented.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the industrial B2B market
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience in industrial applications.
  • Willing and able to travel with no restrictions.
  • Curious, adept at learning new technologies.
  • Ability to cultivate lasting business relationships.
  • Exercise influential leadership.
  • An analytical, problem-solving, and strategic mindset that applies to all scopes of projects and issues.
  • Highly motivated and innovative with an entrepreneurial work ethic.
  • Customer-centric mindset, making customers and their needs a primary focus.
  • Communication skills, written and verbal, in French.
  • English proficiency to serve clients in Atlantic Canada and interact with US suppliers, ensuring effective communication and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure and prioritize client satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
  • Proactively engage with clients to understand their business objectives (challenges, competitions, their budgetary processes, etc.)
  • Build trusting relationships with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Plan and execute growth strategies tailored to individual client needs.
  • Analyze and understand our position with clients.
  • Document and showcase delivered customer value and successes.
  • Proactively engage in continuous prospecting, generating new opportunities, and conducting thorough qualification.
  • Progress opportunities through different stages of the sales process.
  • Manage diverse types of business opportunities (KOB).
  • Conduct accurate and insightful sales forecasting, providing valuable insights for strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Qualify and develop customer opportunities by identifying customer pain points, pain chains, and critical results to achieve (CRTA), facilitating tailored solutions that address specific client needs effectively.
  • Utilize the Product, People, Value, Vision, Commitment, Competitive Advantage (PPVVCC) Approach
  • Employ consultative selling techniques, actively engaging with clients to understand their challenges and collaboratively recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Successfully close sales by effectively addressing objections, addressing concerns, and guiding clients through the decision-making process.
  • Keep our CRM up to date following established procedures and standards to maximize sales efficiency and facilitate collaboration with the team.
  • Create a collaborative environment with internal and external teams.
  • Increase the visibility and awareness of products and services to maximize sales growth.
  • Assisting with digital marketing campaigns and social media content.
  • Achieve individual and team sales goals using customer-focused engagement strategies.
