About The Position

McKesson Medical-Surgical is hiring a Field Sales Account Manager to support Post-Acute Care customers in Northern Louisiana. This role requires the incumbent to currently reside north of Highway 190 and possess established knowledge of the Northern Louisiana market and familiarity with the Post Acute Care community in the region. The Account Manager will act as a trusted advisor for long-term care, home health, and hospice providers, helping them access McKesson's medical supplies and equipment. The goal is to drive growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and delivering consultative solutions to improve patient outcomes. McKesson offers a comprehensive portfolio of products for extended care providers to support better patient outcomes. Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • 7-year Motor Vehicle Record Check conducted during background
  • Proven success selling to long-term care, home health, hospice, DME, or wound care providers
  • Strong cold calling and prospecting abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and retain customer accounts
  • Consistent achievement of sales goals
  • Experience with consultative selling and business reviews
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
