About The Position

McKesson Medical-Surgical is hiring a Field Sales Account Manager to support our Post-Acute Care customers in Northern Louisiana. This field sales role supports a Northern Louisiana territory and requires the incumbent to currently reside north of Highway 190. Beyond geographic proximity, this role requires a candidate with established knowledge of the Northern Louisiana market and existing familiarity with the Post Acute Care community in the region. Candidates should bring a strong understanding of local providers, care settings, and customer dynamics to effectively manage and grow the territory. Relocation assistance is not available, and candidates residing south of Highway 190 will not be considered. As an Account Manager, you’ll be the trusted advisor for long-term care, home health, and hospice providers—helping them access the industry’s largest portfolio of medical supplies and equipment. You’ll drive growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and delivering consultative solutions that improve patient outcomes. McKesson offers one of the industry’s most comprehensive portfolios—spanning 23 product categories including durable medical equipment, home care supplies, and oxygen equipment. Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience
  • Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • 7-year Motor Vehicle Record Check conducted during background
  • Proven success selling to long-term care, home health, hospice, DME, or wound care providers
  • Strong cold calling and prospecting abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and retain customer accounts
  • Consistent achievement of sales goals
  • Experience with consultative selling and business reviews
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
