About The Position

This posting is for a future opportunity based in either NYC or Atlanta. 160over90 is a global, culturally-led creative agency with expertise across advertising, branding, experiential, partnerships, PR and communications, and serves leading brands including AB InBev, Audi, Marriott, and Visa. At 160/90, the Partnerships team is comprised of subject matter experts around the world helping clients create, negotiate, activate, and evaluate integrated marketing programs. Based in New York or Atlanta, this Account Manager position will be part of a dedicated agency team responsible for managing sponsorship marketing initiatives for a key client in the consumer and commercial banking categories.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant agency or client-based account management experience
  • Experience working in sports and entertainment sponsorship
  • Experience with brand positioning, marketing strategies, and experiential marketing
  • Participation in the selection, negotiation, and evaluation of successful sponsorship programs
  • Proven ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive results
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with client management experience preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow established brand guidelines
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to problem-solve independently and in groups
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading the strategic development and activation of client’s sponsorships and events
  • Develop detailed project plans for assigned partnerships including managing timelines and asset trackers to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met and within budget
  • Partner with internal divisions, external stakeholders, and third-party vendors as needed in the execution of partnerships and events to ensure activities and services meet protocol and brand standards
  • Interface with other account team members, clients, and all appropriate agencies and partner properties daily to coordinate all fulfillment aspects of assigned programs and events
  • Assist in the evaluation process for new, prospective, and existing sponsorships, as well as the after-action performance measurement process based on established client objectives
  • Proactively create and maintain client-ready materials, such as recaps, POVs, recommendations, competitive analyses, and go-to-market plans
  • Lead compiling and distribution of agendas, call materials, and notes for assigned internal and external partnership meetings
  • Collaborate with internal creative staff to brief necessary projects and ensure high quality, on-time deliverables
