Account Manager - Industrial Services
About The Position
Olive is looking for an Account Manager of Industrial Services in Lake Charles, LA. The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities to grow existing and new accounts within the industrial services market. This position serves as a primary point of contact for customers, working closely with internal operations and service teams to ensure client requirements are understood and delivered. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B industrial services sales and account management, with the ability to support both planned maintenance activities and emergency/call-out service requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in B2B industrial services sales, business development, or account management.
- Experience developing, managing, and growing customer accounts within industrial environments.
- Industry knowledge and/or sales experience with services including Lube Oil Flushing, Chemical Cleaning, Nitrogen Drying and Purging, Hydro Jetting / Hydro Milling, Valve Testing and Calibration, and Pressure Testing.
- Ability to understand customer operational and maintenance requirements and recommend appropriate service solutions.
- Experience supporting planned maintenance, turnaround, and emergency/call-out service requirements.
- Ability to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing customer accounts.
- Experience managing proposals, quotations, sales opportunities, customer follow-up, and account performance.
- Effective client communication, relationship management, and problem-resolution skills.
- Ability to collaborate with operations and service teams to support successful project and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing day-to-day communication, requests, and follow-up.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to establish new client relationships.
- Understand customer operations, maintenance requirements, challenges, and upcoming service needs.
- Conduct regular customer meetings and account reviews to discuss performance, upcoming projects, service requirements, and opportunities.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the industrial services portfolio.
- Develop account growth opportunities by introducing additional services that align with customer operational and maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with operations and internal service teams to ensure customer requirements, schedules, and expectations are communicated and met.
- Support proposals, quotations, account tracking, and sales opportunity management throughout the sales cycle.
- Respond to customer issues and service requirements, coordinating internally and escalating when necessary.
- Support both planned maintenance services and emergency/call-out requirements.
- Maintain customer satisfaction while developing opportunities for recurring and expanded service revenue.
