About The Position

In addition to all duties of Account Manager I, the Account Manager II is expected to maintain a book of business greater than $200,000 in revenue. This role involves marketing and servicing accounts (new and existing) in a way that fosters new business development and existing client perpetuation. The Account Manager II will process client requests for service, gather necessary information for submission, and verify and maintain account files. This position requires the ability to handle an account and sell policies from beginning to end, as well as maintain compliance responses for accounts sold. The Account Manager II might also be required to help train employees at management’s request.

Requirements

  • Must hold current Property and Casualty License in resident state; includes maintaining by meeting all continuation education and other requirements
  • Must have CISR designation
  • 5+ years’ insurance experience
  • High school diploma or equivalency

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a book of business > $200,000 in revenue
  • Assist sales representatives and/or initiate sales calls
  • Manage client accounts
  • Market existing and new accounts; negotiation with company underwriters; present best options
  • Maintain all records
  • Review monthly renewals in advance
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Ability to interact & communicate positively with co-workers
  • Any other duties as appropriate and assigned by management
  • Process client requests for service
  • Gather necessary information for submission
