Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-9+ Minimum Years of Experience with combined Finance Management and/or Sales.
  • 3-5+ Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
  • Must be willing to travel and work at customer sites.
  • Understand, apply and meet all function related YF IOS requirements.
  • Understand, apply and meet all function related EHS requirements.
  • Understand, apply and meet all function-related Product Safety requirements.
  • Understand, apply and meet all function-related Compliance requirements.
  • Understand, apply and meet all function-related IT / Information Security and confidentiality of YFAI information requirements.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Must have the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
  • Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers, suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).

  • Experience in Automotive Manufacturing, Manufacturing, Technical Engineering/Program Management, or Technical Sales Representative preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop pricing and commercial proposals and negotiate with customers.
  • Understand customer commercial requirements and develop proposals that meet these requirements and create value for YFAI.
  • Deliver customer information, solve customer problems, receive requests for information, relay issues to related departments, provide solutions and proposals, and obtain feedback.
  • Plan and negotiate commercial savings, including contractual Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) and resin pricing for current and future years.
  • Negotiate payment terms and develop transition plans.
  • Visit customers to gather information on business opportunities, volumes, capacity, and financial status.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to identify, pursue, and realize commercial opportunities that improve YFAI's financial performance.
  • Collect 5-year business plan information from customers.
  • Fulfill customer requirements for pricing and commercial needs, including creating customer price breakdown forms, tooling price breakdown forms, and various requests for information to support commercial issues and claims.
  • Secure Purchase Orders (POs) and release them to internal departments, which may include populating customer online quotation systems.
  • Negotiate Engineering Changes (Phase 2 - 5).
  • Handle Prototype Part Quotation.
  • Negotiate Engineering Development & Design (ED&D) and receive Purchase Orders.
  • Create and maintain Bump Charts, including Directed Component Bump Charts.
  • Develop, maintain, and track Customer Price Breakdown Forms and history.
  • Manage Customer Commercial Open Issues related to Purchasing, Supply Chain Engineering (SCE), Customer Integration Team (CIT), Tooling, and Operations.
  • Resolve Account Receivables issues, including customer escalations.
  • Provide Service Account Management for RFQs, supply chain, plant moves, etc.
  • Load information into the Customer Portal.
