About The Position

IKM Building Solutions is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join their team and help grow their footprint across Wisconsin. As the face of IKM, the Account Manager will be responsible for building strong client relationships, expanding market presence, and delivering outcome-based solutions in Mechanical, Plumbing, Fabrication, Service, and Controls. The company provides commercial HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal fabrication, advanced BAS and energy services to clients across Wisconsin in industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, education, government, and financial institutions.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in construction, mechanical systems, or related industries
  • Ability to read construction drawings and P&IDs
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with excellent time and territory management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation needed

Nice To Haves

  • COINS and SmartSheet experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial and manufacturing clients
  • Identify and close new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling
  • Promote renewable service agreements and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic, technical proposals
  • Track opportunities in CRM and maintain detailed account plans
  • Represent IKM at trade shows and industry events
