About The Position

IKM Building Solutions is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join their team and help grow their footprint across Wisconsin. The Account Manager will be the face of IKM, acting as a brand steward by building strong client relationships, expanding market presence, and delivering outcome-based solutions in Mechanical, Plumbing, Fabrication, Service, and Controls. This role is crucial for driving growth in commercial and manufacturing client portfolios.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in construction, mechanical systems, or related industries
  • Ability to read construction drawings and P&IDs
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with excellent time and territory management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation needed
  • Must be comfortable working in varied job site conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • COINS and SmartSheet experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial and manufacturing clients
  • Identify and close new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling
  • Promote renewable service agreements and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic, technical proposals
  • Track opportunities in CRM and maintain detailed account plans
  • Represent IKM at trade shows and industry events
