This position reports to: Global Sales Manager Your role and responsibilities: As an Account Manager - C&I, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of ABB's low and medium voltage electrical equipment within the Phoenix Trade Area, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. While this is a remote position, successful candidates will be based in the Phoenix, AZ metro area. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings Division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for: Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy. Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers. Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited university / college and 1+ years of sales experience, OR, GED with 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Knowledge and experience quoting and/or selling commercial, industrial and residential products to electrical contractors.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical industry / ABB products.
  • Strong technical application, take-off, and proposal skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Customer focused mindset with ability to respond quickly to customer needs.
  • Able to travel throughout the territory as needed.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
