Requirements

  • Knowledge of industrial electrical products and applications.
  • Knowledge of Control and Automation products to include PLC’s, HMI’s and VFD’s.
  • Skilled in selling products & services, negotiating sales, pricing and terms.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and present ideas and solutions to customers.
  • Outgoing personality that works well with others.
  • Ability to speak read and write proficiently in English.
  • Maintains strong customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and possess strong work detail and organizational skills.
  • Motivated, Self-Starter with a strong work ethic who can work independently.
  • Must be fluent in Microsoft Office ©.

Responsibilities

  • Secure business from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer’s facility.
  • Secure opportunities on customer requirements by working with Cooper’s departments to develop a comprehensive bill of material.
  • Follow up on all quotations submitted to customers, answer questions/concerns and Help close the order.
  • Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management and other key personnel).
  • Establish customer specific contracts.
  • Perform all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory.
  • Support Sales Engineers in preparing solutions for customers.
