About The Position

The Account Management Professional is responsible for growing membership within existing accounts and for directly managing business relationships with client accounts. This role involves communicating benefit offerings effectively to employers and membership, requiring strong teamwork, collaboration, and time management skills. The position also demands strong verbal and presentation skills for delivering effective messaging to various clients. The Account Management Professional will represent Humana at employer open enrollment meetings, health fairs, and other market events, both in-person and online. Training will be provided for this role, which is part of the Humana Specialty Group Benefits Team. This position is a Variable Staffing Pool position, meaning hours could vary weekly.

Requirements

  • Florida Life and Health license
  • Strong knowledge of benefit offerings
  • Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to conduct effective presentations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • General computer skills including demonstrated experience with data entry
  • Ability to transport Marketing materials and other supplies as needed
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
  • Ability to travel within the regional area and flexibility for additional business travel as needed
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
  • Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps for internet service (wireless, wired cable or DSL suggested; Satellite, cellular and microwave connection only if approved by leadership)
  • Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits

  • Preference to reside in Miami/Dade, Broward or Palm Beach counties
