About The Position

The Account Executive will promote home medical equipment to referral sources to increase sales. This role involves visiting physician offices, working closely with Office Managers and Distribution Coordinators, maintaining logs, delivering medical documentation, and establishing, growing, and maintaining referral source relationships.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • One to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of sales experience, preferably in the medical field.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to achieve, maintain, and exceed sales on a consistent basis.
  • Good work ethic, listening, and organizational skills.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Excel (using pivot tables) and other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Visit physician offices and other referral sources to educate them on DASCO's products and services.
  • Achieve monthly sales goals.
  • Work closely with Office Managers and Distribution Coordinators to follow up with referrals and ensure smooth relations.
  • Maintain daily call logs, expense logs, and mileage logs, submitting them to the sales manager in a timely manner.
  • Deliver medical documentation to physician's offices for completion when needed.
  • Organize meals with physicians and other referral sources to increase sales.
  • Establish, grow, and maintain relationships with referral sources.
  • Comply with and report any compliance/safety issues.
  • Develop territory plans and present them to leadership and peers.
  • Utilize Excel (with pivot tables) and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
