About The Position

Avallon builds AI agents that make insurance claims operations teams dramatically more efficient. Since graduating YC, we've grown revenue 30x in under 10 months, raised a $4.6M seed led by Frontline, and are scaling fast. We're already working with leading TPAs and carriers, and our team includes builders and researchers from MIT, Harvard, and Cornell with deep expertise in NLP and applied AI. Insurance claims operations are one of the clearest real-world use cases for AI: high-volume, repetitive workflows still run on manual effort, aging systems, and overextended teams. We're building agents that automate the entire claims lifecycle, from intake to settlement, so claims teams can move faster, reduce cost, and improve accuracy at scale. We're hiring our first two Account Executives to turn strong early demand into a repeatable, scalable revenue engine. This isn't a "run the playbook" role; we're still writing the playbook. The good news: we're not starting from zero. We already have closed deals, active pilots, inbound interest, and an early sales motion that works. What's missing is structure, consistency, and scale, and that's what you'll build directly alongside the founders.

Requirements

  • High ownership, high agency. You don't wait for perfect inputs; you create momentum with what you have
  • Proven closer with experience selling $50K–$500K ACV SaaS
  • 4+ years in closing roles, ideally with time in early-stage or high-growth environments
  • Comfortable operating without structure and building clarity as you go
  • Based in NYC (SoHo) and willing to work in-office 5 days/week

Nice To Haves

  • Early-stage startup experience as an early sales hire
  • Exposure to insurance, claims, TPAs, or carrier environments
  • Experience selling into operational, financial, or compliance-heavy buyers
  • Background running pilots, POVs, or proof-of-value sales motions
  • Strong writing or public presence in your space

Responsibilities

  • Sell into large insurance organizations: TPAs and carriers running high-volume, high-stakes claims operations
  • Own the full sales cycle, from discovery through pilot design to close
  • Run structured pilots that prove clear, hard-dollar ROI within weeks
  • Multi-thread complex accounts deeply across claims, ops, procurement, and IT
  • Help define where we focus next, shaping the ICP and wedge that gets us to $100M+ ARR
  • Turn early wins into a repeatable motion future reps can scale
  • Feed the roadmap: bring market signal directly into product and engineering
