Account Executive Full-Cycle New Business

Dynascale Technologies•, (Multiple States)
•$75,000 - $85,000

About The Position

Dynascale is hiring a full-cycle Account Executive focused on new business development. The role is for a self-directed hunter who builds a pipeline, identifies infrastructure buying triggers, recommends suitable solutions, and closes new-logo business from initial conversation through signature. There are no inherited accounts or reliance on marketing leads. The portfolio includes public cloud, private cloud, Dell hardware, colocation, and related infrastructure and managed services; recommendations should fit customer needs rather than favor a particular product. Client Success handles renewals and account management, allowing the Account Executive to focus on new business. The role includes co-selling with technology advisors and brokers and working directly with the VP of Sales and company leadership. The Account Executive maps and prioritizes a territory using timing signals such as hardware end-of-life, contract and lease expirations, licensing changes, funding, acquisitions, and audit cycles. They prospect through phone, email, LinkedIn, events, and referrals; conduct discovery and qualification; lead initial technical conversations; develop business cases; negotiate and close deals; maintain forecasts and CRM records; and provide complete handoffs to Client Success. Success is measured by new monthly recurring revenue against an annual quota of roughly $20,000 in net-new MRR, along with pipeline generation, opportunity quality and progression, win rate, margin, forecast accuracy, and handoff quality. Dynascale provides cloud solutions, colocation, infrastructure modernization, AI sovereignty, cybersecurity, and managed IT services to organizations with demanding performance, cost, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience selling recurring infrastructure or managed services, such as colocation, IaaS, private cloud, MSP/MSSP, DRaaS, or managed network.
  • A track record of sourcing at least half of closed business independently, with the ability to explain the sourcing method in detail.
  • Experience selling to IT managers and directors at companies with approximately 50–1,000 employees.
  • Quota attainment without dependence on a large marketing engine, an SDR team, or a sales engineer on every call.
  • Ability to manage sales cycles of four to seven months.
  • Fluency in discussing deals in terms of recurring revenue and margin, not only contract value.
  • Strong CRM and forecasting discipline, ideally using HubSpot.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience beating AWS or Azure on cost predictability and control.
  • Experience closing deals alongside technology advisors or brokers such as Intelisys, Telarus, Upstack, or Avant.
  • Experience quoting hardware and a recurring service in the same deal.
  • Familiarity with compliance-driven industries, including healthcare, financial services, entertainment and post-production, or the public sector.
  • Experience selling with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, Challenger, or a similar methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Build a territory map and prioritized prospect hit list based on infrastructure buying signals and timing.
  • Generate pipeline through phone, email, LinkedIn, events, referrals, and other outbound prospecting.
  • Use HubSpot, Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo for prospecting and sales activity.
  • Develop technology advisors and brokers into a co-selling pipeline source.
  • Conduct discovery with IT managers and directors, identify the event driving a purchase, and qualify opportunities using MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or a similar methodology.
  • Lead initial technical conversations about virtualization, backup, bandwidth, and compliance, and engage Solutions Engineers for deeper designs.
  • Create concise business cases for customer champions, explaining why action is needed now, the cost of inaction, and the rationale for the proposed solution.
  • Negotiate and close profitable new-logo deals without relying on discounts to buy revenue.
  • Maintain accurate, current HubSpot records and a reliable sales forecast.
  • Hand off complete and accurate service orders to Client Success after closing.
  • Meet an annual quota of roughly $20,000 in net-new monthly recurring revenue.
