About The Position

The Account Executive plays an essential role in driving business growth within the healthcare and social assistance sector by managing and expanding relationships with pharmacy clients across the United States. This position is responsible for understanding client needs, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring the successful adoption of pharmaceutical products and services. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to align client objectives with company offerings. The Account Executive will analyze market trends and client feedback to identify new opportunities and provide strategic insights that enhance client satisfaction and retention. Ultimately, this role contributes to the company’s revenue goals by fostering long-term partnerships and delivering exceptional value to pharmacy clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or account management within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, pharmaceutical products, and healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant experience may substitute for educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Experience working with pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) or healthcare providers.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Advanced degree or certification in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy clients to understand their business needs and objectives.
  • Present and promote pharmaceutical products and services to existing and prospective clients, tailoring solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate product launches, marketing campaigns, and client support initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to secure new business and renew existing accounts.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to clients to ensure successful product implementation and usage.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build professional relationships and stay informed about industry developments.
