About The Position

The Account Executive – Enterprise Accounts will be responsible for sales opportunities with both existing strategic enterprise customers and new enterprise customers nationwide. Their core responsibility will be to develop high-volume business regionally through strategic account management for new and existing accounts with high business potential. This role requires expertise in enterprise sales and account management, with the ability to navigate complex customer organizations, multiple decision-makers, and varied procurement processes. The individual will work closely with customers to recommend and deploy the best system solutions to meet their needs.

  • 3+ years outside business to business sales experience within ITS/Signal industry
  • Possess and maintains a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record
  • Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite; sales database
  • Demonstrated experience working independently and within a regional team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prospecting and managing new enterprise sales opportunities
  • Responsible for growing existing enterprise accounts in key vertical segments.
  • Develops and carries out an effective territory management plan to grow sales with nationwide accounts
  • Provides technical support and expertise for our customers to effectively sell traffic and parking safety products including on-site assistance and maintenance.
  • Responsible for prospecting goals set forth for high-revenue customers
  • Accountable for adherence to sales metric performance as defined by the management team
  • Maintains customer data within their assigned territory in the TAPCO CRM database
  • Responds and follows through on inquiries and sales orders through email, over the phone or our e-commerce website
  • Travels to regional trade shows and customer sites as necessary, and reports back to management
  • Identifies, monitors and shares product and territory trends
  • Delivers quotes, credit terms and bids to customers and/or prospects
