About The Position

WICS-TV, Newschannel 20 in Springfield, IL has an immediate opening for an enthusiastic and dynamic Sales Account Executive. This position is ideal for revenue generators with a successful sales background who want to put their skill set to work developing ad sales for our broadcast stations and digital platforms. You’ll increase revenue on streaming, social and other digital opportunities as well as the television broadcast side. Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable, customer-focused and goal-oriented. Experienced sellers should have a successful, proven history of driving revenue growth. Strong decision making, communication and time management skills are imperative.

Requirements

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Effective time management and oral and written communication skills
Excellent presentation skills, a competitive drive, and ambitious nature
Ability to develop relationships with both staff and clients
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Vehicle required for outside sales meetings/calls
