Vista Radio has an immediate opening for a full-time Account Executive, based in Kelowna, BC, as part of our Vista Idea Sales (VIS) team. This role focuses on sales, working with clients across Canada in all Vista Radio markets. No travel is required though as almost all the work will be via correspondence, primarily on the phone. You will build relationships, develop new business opportunities, and manage a pipeline of clients using both provided leads and self-generated prospects.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with clients over the phone
  • High level of resilience — comfortable handling rejection and staying motivated
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented mindset with a strong desire to succeed in sales
  • Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline using both internal databases and self-sourced leads
  • Prospect businesses across Canada to develop new client relationships
  • Develop creative radio and digital advertising solutions tailored to client needs
  • Conduct sales presentations and close new business
  • Maintain strong follow-up and relationship management with clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute campaigns and ensure client satisfaction
  • Track activity, manage accounts, and stay organized in a high-volume sales environment
  • Consistently work toward and exceed sales targets
