About The Position

PENN Entertainment, Inc. is seeking an Account Executive to join their Media Sales team supporting theScore. This role will focus on expanding the media sales footprint in the New York City Metro Area by leveraging direct ad sales products, sales expertise, and an existing local network. The Account Executive will partner with Sales leadership based in Toronto and will be responsible for formulating and executing sales strategies, acquiring new partnerships, and growing existing ones. The role involves maintaining relationships with agencies and brands, educating prospects on the value of theScore, developing media recommendations, executing campaign management strategies, and growing assigned territory revenue to meet sales goals. The position requires a strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape, advertising technologies, and industry dynamics, along with excellent relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, assertive self-starter with a proven track record of reaching sales targets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of digital advertising sales or relevant experience
  • Established media agency/brand relationships
  • Proven track record of reaching sales targets and revenue goals
  • Strong knowledge of digital media environment
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Experienced presenter
  • Excellent communicator, written and verbal
  • In-depth understanding of advertising technologies, digital content, and industry dynamics
  • Detail-oriented, assertive self-starter, resourceful researcher

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute a sales strategy to develop a pipeline, acquire new partnerships and grow existing partnerships
  • Maintain relationships with agencies and brands direct, understanding their objectives to advise and influence buying decisions
  • Prioritize in person hosting, presenting, and networking opportunities
  • Educate prospects on the unique value of theScore through in-person and/or virtual meetings
  • Develop a media recommendation from agency/brand campaign briefs, defining appropriate objectives and advising the internal team on deliverables
  • Execute campaign management strategies, to ensure campaign KPIs are reached
  • Engage in relationship building events, including client entertainment to establish our brand and solutions to help drive sales
  • Maintain and grow assigned territory revenue making sure to deliver on sales goals
  • Other duties as required
