Requirements
- A hungry go-getter with a knack for sharp, compelling writing
- A news-hound with a proven track record pitching and placing media
- Thrives in fast-paced environments
- 1-3 years of communications experience in labor, advocacy, organizing, politics, or media
- Eager to make a difference for the public good
- Must retain a valid driver’s license and a purchased or leased automobile for personal transportation to work events with a valid inspection sticker. (Exemptions may be requested if this creates an unmitigable hardship.)
Responsibilities
- Pitching and placing media
- Writing compelling content, including social media content, press releases, and talking points
