About The Position

The Sales Account Executive generates advertising revenue primarily through developing new prospects and selling potential clients the merits of KTLA’s digital/linear advertising. This role involves selling digital TV advertising products across OTT, CTV, Amazon DSP, streaming platforms, and programmatic inventory. The Account Executive will create customized advertising solutions including display, video, branded content, sponsorships, and station integrations. They will collaborate with sales support, marketing, and creative teams to develop effective campaigns, monitor campaign performance, provide clients with reporting and insights, and optimize campaigns to ensure success. The position proactively identifies and develops multi-platform new business opportunities and supports/advises customers in specific types of advertising and how KTLA can help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible. The role also includes preparing and delivering sales presentations to clients.

Requirements

  • Digital marketing expertise (OTT, Display, social media, email marketing & Amazon DSP)
  • Experience with Freewheel and Google ad manager a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising or Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • Minimum one year’s experience in sales, preferably in the media field
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Solution oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in digital marketing (omni channel multi-platform), with a focus on Video, Display, social media, or email marketing (typically 1-3 years).
  • Experience with digital analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and other marketing platforms.
