Your Mission: As an Account Executive focused on landing new business, you’ll play a key role in Propeller’s growth by owning the full sales cycle for net new logo acquisition. This position will feature direct selling as well as sales in partnership with our dealer networks. You’ll partner closely with your manager and sales development representative to prospect key regions, build strong relationships with prospective customers, and translate Propeller’s value into outcomes that resonate from the field to the C-suite. Success in this role means consistently generating pipeline, earning trust with customers in the Eastern region of North America, and closing high-quality new business.

Requirements

  • Proven sales track record in a full sales cycle role, consistently hitting targets for new logo acquisition.
  • Experience in or strong exposure to Propeller’s target industries (e.g., construction tech, civil engineering, GIS, surveying, drone software, aerospace/space tech, or related), with a baseline understanding of customer workflows and needs.
  • Ability to translate complex spatial data concepts into a compelling value proposition for both field crews and executive stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, collaborative ways of working — strong ownership, with good judgment about when to pull in teammates to close.
  • Customer-first selling approach: curiosity-led discovery, consultative selling, and focus on solving real customer problems.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for net new logo acquisition, from prospecting through close.
  • Balance landing new business with expanding opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline through a mix of inbound, outbound, and customer referrals — including active self-sourcing.
  • Run discovery and solution-focused sales conversations, translating customer workflows into a clear value proposition for Propeller.
  • Collaborate with your SDR and broader GTM team to align outreach, territory plans, and deal strategy.
  • Partner and strategize with the dealers in your region.
  • Travel up to 50% to meet customers in person, run field demonstrations, and build long-term partnerships.
  • Work hybrid: be in the Denver office a minimum of 2 days per week on average when not traveling.
