About The Position

Delta Defense, the private company behind the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), is seeking an Outside Sales Account Executive for Northern Indiana. This role is described as a calling rather than a traditional sales job, focused on protecting responsible American gun owners. The position involves building trust and relationships with individuals and businesses in the firearms community, including gun ranges, retailers, and training partners. The core mission is to safeguard the life, freedom, and finances of responsibly armed Americans through USCCA Membership. The role emphasizes face-to-face, relationship-driven sales with a focus on credibility, education, and understanding customer needs rather than aggressive pitching. Authenticity as a responsible gun owner is valued, but a willingness to learn and be humble is also respected. Top performers are described as peers, trusted advisors, and educators, not just sales representatives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass State Property & Casualty Insurance exam (training provided)
  • Strong professionalism, discretion, and integrity
  • Self-driven, organized, and accountable

Nice To Haves

  • Field or outside sales experience
  • Proven territory growth through prospecting and pipeline management
  • Confident, persuasive presentation skills
  • Strong closing ability
  • Experience in the firearms industry
  • Firearms instructor certification or interest in becoming certified
  • Basic proficiency with Salesforce and Google Workspace

Responsibilities

  • Build strong local relationships with gun ranges, firearms retailers, instructors, and small business partners within the assigned territory.
  • Deliver engaging group presentations, often following concealed carry classes, to share the USCCA story effectively.
  • Educate individuals on training, education, and self-defense liability protection for responsibly armed Americans.
  • Close USCCA memberships using ethical, consultative sales techniques that prioritize the member's needs.
  • Manage and grow the territory pipeline through consistent prospecting and nurturing efforts.
  • Provide an outstanding member experience throughout the sales process and beyond.
