About The Position

Compass is revolutionizing the real estate industry with its end-to-end platform designed to empower residential real estate agents. The Strategic Growth team is responsible for market expansion and driving net-new revenue by attracting top-producing agents to Compass. As an Account Executive, also known as a Strategic Growth Manager (SGM), your primary role is to sell the Compass value proposition (technology, marketing, culture, and growth) to influence agents to transition from their current brokerages. This role involves direct interaction with decision-makers, requiring empathy, patience, listening skills, agility, and a focus on closing deals. The team comprises individuals with diverse backgrounds, and SGMs are noted for generating significant revenue.

Requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to exercise judgment and solve difficult problems without direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively lead client meetings and presentations.
  • Highly organized; ability to multi-task and handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Track record of excellence across strategic, operational, and detail-demanding functional responsibilities.
