This role is for a modern storyteller with 2-3 years of industry experience who understands how to navigate today's complex media landscape. The ideal candidate is a generalist, excited about pitching diverse clients and managing consumer launches or social good initiatives. This role operates at the intersection of earned media, social ecosystems, and cultural influence, requiring a blend of EQ and IQ to manage daily execution and think creatively about a client's public persona. Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in PR or communications across a variety of industries.
  • Proven track record of securing results and managing the moving parts of a fast-paced account.
  • Live on social media and understand the creator economy.
  • Ability to identify platforms driving conversation and translate that knowledge into pitches or brainstorm ideas.
  • High EQ and great judgment; ability to read a room, handle last-minute client requests, and maintain a calm, solution-oriented attitude under pressure.
  • Concise and creative writing skills, capable of crafting effective pitches and briefing notes.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a love for brainstorming and suggesting new ideas.
  • Innate curiosity about the world and how brands can make it a better place.
  • Meticulously organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Pride in the accuracy of reports and thoroughness of media research.

Responsibilities

  • Own the daily execution for a roster of 4-6 clients, including active media outreach and securing impactful placements.
  • Identify creative opportunities for clients to join the cultural conversation.
  • Coordinate earned media with social-first content and creator partnerships for cohesive campaign impact.
  • Manage account foundations, including agendas, meeting recaps, and activity reports.
  • Provide critical support for media-specific events, managing logistics such as invite lists and on-site media wrangling.
  • Draft creative pitches, press materials, blog content, and briefing notes.
  • Monitor the news cycle and social platforms daily to identify trending topics and opportunities for client involvement.
  • Partner with Account Managers and Directors to achieve client deliverables.
  • Lead by example in interactions with teammates, clients, and journalists, prioritizing integrity, transparency, and professional poise.
