About The Position

Rundoo's mission is to empower independent supply stores with best-in-class technology. They aim to help local hardware stores and mom-and-pop nurseries, who often use outdated systems, modernize their operations. Rundoo is a fast-growing, venture-backed startup that has raised $18M and is reshaping how building materials retailers run their businesses. The team consists of builders, sellers, and industry veterans dedicated to bringing modern technology to an overlooked industry.

Requirements

  • Live in the Chicago / Chicagoland area.
  • Able to work from our office ~50% of the time.
  • Excited to close deals and carry a quota.
  • Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Energized by frequent travel (~50%) across your assigned states.
  • Love building strong relationships with customers: from first conversation through close.

Nice To Haves

  • Successfully closed new business deals in the $15K–$20K ARR range, especially at Series A startups or companies in a similar growth stage.
  • Experience hunting and closing net-new business in a field sales role.
  • Familiarity with the building materials or construction supply industry: ideally retail.
  • Love friendly competition and thrive in a high-performance team.
  • Experience selling a product that is new to the market or required process change for the customer.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire sales process from lead generation to close.
  • Primarily outbound sales through a combination of inside and outside sales strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of peers in other regions.
  • Collaborate closely with industry veterans, implementation professionals, and BDRs.
  • Spend about 50% of your time in-person in the office, collaborating closely with team members.
  • Spend about 50% of your time traveling throughout your territory to meet customers in-person.

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $92K
  • Uncapped Commission (On-Target Earnings): $192K
