About The Position

Expedient is seeking a driven Account Executive to join their team and sell industry-leading IT and cloud solutions to mid and large-sized businesses. This role is ideal for an ambitious technical sales professional with a proven track record of B2B sales success, particularly with technology solutions such as Cloud Hosting, Managed Services, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Servers and Storage Solutions, Managed Backups, Disaster Recovery, and Generative & Agentic AI. The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and generating new business opportunities, building and managing a robust pipeline of leads, collaborating with technical teams, and focusing on prospecting, forecasting, pipeline development, and closing deals to meet sales targets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience selling cloud solutions to businesses in the Indianapolis, Indiana business and tech community
  • Successful methodology for prospecting and lead generation to grow the sales pipeline of new business.
  • Demonstrated success in B2B technology sales, especially within IT services, MSP, or cloud solutions
  • Demonstrated success in working with VARS and Trusted Advisors
  • Excellent relationship-building and consultative selling skills
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work well independently
  • Success in sales, consistently over achieving assigned quota

  • Experience with Sandler Sales Process is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and generate new business opportunities in the Indiana and surrounding areas
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of leads and prospective clients
  • Partner with Lead Generation teams and Channel Partner teams to generate leads and turn them into Expedient clients
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure clients are fully supported throughout the sales process and beyond
  • Focus on prospecting, forecasting opportunities, pipeline development, and closing deals based on individual and quarterly sales targets
  • Forecasting future sales based on trends and observations and meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas
  • Develop, prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations while partnering with dedicated Solutions Architect
