About The Position

QC Servion is seeking an Account Executive to drive growth across the data center, power, energy, utility, and critical infrastructure markets. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and positioning capabilities across the QC Ecosystem, including engineering, commissioning, program management, power and utility strategy, infrastructure development, liquid cooling, and integrated technology solutions. The ideal candidate understands the intersection of data center growth, power availability, utility constraints, energy infrastructure, and mission-critical project delivery. This person should be comfortable engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders and translating complex client needs into opportunities for the appropriate teams and capabilities across the QC Ecosystem. This is a consultative, relationship-driven sales role requiring strong technical curiosity, commercial judgment, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder pursuits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing, Energy, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant industry and business development experience considered.
  • 5+ years of business development, account management, strategic sales, or client relationship experience within technical or infrastructure-driven markets.
  • Experience within data centers, utilities, energy infrastructure, power generation, electrical infrastructure, mission-critical facilities, engineering consulting, EPC services, or related markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage strategic client relationships and build new business opportunities.
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving technical, commercial, operational, and executive decision-makers.
  • Strong technical curiosity with the ability to learn complex solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation, communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple internal businesses and technical disciplines.
  • Experience contributing to proposals, RFP responses, presentations, and strategic pursuits.
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipeline activity, account information, forecasting, and sales progress.
  • Self-directed and resourceful, with the ability to operate effectively in a remote, fast-moving environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting hyperscale data center, mission-critical, utility, energy, or large-scale infrastructure clients.
  • Established relationships across data center development, utility, power generation, energy, engineering, or infrastructure markets.
  • Experience selling engineering, commissioning, consulting, program management, EPC, energy, or other technical professional services.
  • Familiarity with utility coordination, power procurement, grid infrastructure, substations, medium- and high-voltage systems, microgrids, distributed energy resources, energy storage, or data center power enablement.
  • Experience working with utilities, data center developers, hyperscalers, power developers, independent power producers, engineering firms, EPC organizations, or infrastructure owners.
  • Experience developing opportunities that require coordination across multiple business units, partners, or technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new opportunities across data center, power, energy, utility, and critical infrastructure markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic account and opportunity plans aligned with growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients, projects, and strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor market activity and identify emerging opportunities related to data center development, power availability, infrastructure investment, and energy demand.
  • Develop relationships with developers, hyperscalers, utilities, power developers, engineering firms, EPC organizations, and infrastructure owners.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop a strong understanding of client business objectives, technical challenges, project needs, and long-term infrastructure strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted point of connection between clients and technical experts across the QC Ecosystem.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with key accounts to uncover future projects and expansion opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at client meetings, industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Partner with technical and operational teams to understand client requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Position capabilities across engineering, commissioning, program management, power and utility strategy, data center development, liquid cooling, integrated systems, and related technical services.

  • Bring the appropriate technical subject-matter experts into opportunities based on client needs and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with technical, operational, and business development teams throughout the pursuit process.
  • Support RFP responses, proposals, presentations, interviews, and client workshops.
  • Help define scope, value proposition, differentiation, and overall pursuit strategy.
  • Maintain momentum across opportunities by coordinating internal stakeholders, client requirements, deadlines, and next steps.
  • Track strategic pursuits from initial identification through contract execution and transition to delivery teams.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships across multiple QC Ecosystem companies and capabilities.
  • Connect client needs with relevant services across the organization rather than limiting opportunities to a single business line.
  • Develop account strategies focused on long-term relationships, recurring opportunities, and increased share of client spend.
  • Partner with leadership and subject-matter experts to introduce new capabilities as client needs evolve.
  • Maintain accurate and current opportunity, account, and activity information within the CRM.
