About The Position

We are hiring multiple Account Executives (AEs) for our Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment throughout the year. Motion is experiencing rapid growth, having recently secured $30M in Series B funding. We have doubled our customer base and headcount in 2024, now comprising nearly 60 team members. Our platform bridges the gap between performance marketers and creative teams, offering creative analytics, research, and strategy. We serve top e-commerce and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) brands, analyzing over $13B in media spend. As an early member of our sales team, you will be instrumental in defining success standards and are viewed as a potential future leader within the company.

Requirements

  • Experience as an Account Executive with a technical product.
  • Reside in Canada (ideally the Greater Toronto Area) or the United States.
  • Demonstrate a drive for continuous improvement in your craft.
  • Possess elite self-reflection skills with the ability to identify and implement improvements.
  • Strong performance and presentation skills.
  • Low ego; willingness to focus on rapid improvement.
  • Instantly likeable and trustworthy demeanor.
  • Extremely ambitious and unafraid of hard work.
  • Strong critical thinking skills; ability to develop informed opinions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive net new and expansion revenue for the SMB segment.
  • Manage the full sales cycle for 100% inbound leads, from initial contact to close.
  • Approach clients collaboratively, focusing on long-term success and ensuring client needs are met.
  • Advise prospects on implementing effective Performance Creative processes using Motion.
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach to help teams address workflow challenges with the Motion platform.
