About The Position

Lumion is the AI-first operating system for trade and technical schools, managing the entire student journey from inquiry to graduation across engagement, enrollment, payments, and success. Their in-house payments engine is NMLS-licensed and boasts a high collection rate. Lumion aims to solve the skilled trades shortage by providing a robust platform for schools that train essential workers. Currently powering over 500 schools, Lumion is backed by TTV Capital and Tusk Venture Partners. This role is crucial for bringing trade schools, often operating on outdated systems, onto the Lumion platform. It involves a high volume of sales with a fast cycle and a repeatable process, where each closed deal contributes to future referrals and company growth.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of full-cycle, new-business sales experience.
  • Proven track record of carrying and hitting a sales quota.
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals.
  • Ability to remain organized under pressure and manage a high volume of concurrent deals.
  • Coachability and a competitive drive, with a desire to be on a leaderboard.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for every deal in your book, with no mid-deal handoffs.
  • Execute sales by running discovery calls, product demonstrations, and proposal presentations with school owners and directors.
  • Manage a high volume of concurrent deals, encompassing prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
  • Maintain a clean CRM and provide accurate pipeline forecasts, ensuring data trustworthiness for team-wide reporting.
  • Gather and relay market feedback on pricing objections, competitor mentions, and product gaps to the product and marketing teams.
  • Ensure a clean transition of new accounts to the Customer Success team to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.
