Requirements

  • Is an incentive-driven sales “hunter” with the proven ability to close sales
  • Has an intense hunger for results, supported by a demonstrated track record of revenue attainment
  • Possesses strong selling skills, and is able to overcome and close around objections
  • Utilizes a consultative, problem-solving sales approach, and is able to be persistent without being obnoxious
  • Enjoys cold calling, prospecting, and meeting people face-to-face
  • Is able to determine who the decision makers are, and knows how to get past the gatekeepers
  • Proven track record of closing sales and exceeding targets.
  • Skilled in B2B relationship building and consultative selling.
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.

  • Experience in waste management, property management sales, or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and win new business in the Commercial, Multi-Family Residential, Hospitality, Industrial, and Institutional sectors.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability while expanding account density through lead generation, networking, and outbound sales efforts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers while providing tailored waste and recycling solutions.
  • Take control of your earnings with an uncapped commission structure.
  • Prospecting, cold calling, and preparing and presenting quotes to obtain new business
  • Utilizing the Salesforce CRM platform to manage and track customer interactions, monitor sales opportunities, and update records to stay organized and informed about their sales pipeline
  • Coordinating with the Operations team regarding new customer site checks, container specifications, and service optimization
  • Providing after-sale care and customer service for both new and assigned existing accounts within the territory
  • Managing existing accounts to adjust their service levels and pricing as needed in order to ensure account retention, as well as ongoing profitability for WCS
  • Meeting regularly with your Sales Manager to review your sales pipeline activity, as well as your customer relationship and retention activities
  • Continuously learning and carrying out market analysis on the industry and our competitors in order to develop unique service options and profitable pricing structures for WCS’s customers
  • Working closely and collaboratively with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and process efficiency
  • Working with your Sales team colleagues to assist one another through sharing information and collaborating on strategy with the purpose of achieving common Company goals
  • Other duties as assigned
