About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Indianapolis, IN territory in a unique military community-based opportunity. This role involves supporting Grand Canyon University students from application through to completion of their initial classes. GCE is a growing educational service company that provides support services to the post-secondary education sector and works closely with Grand Canyon University. The position offers a starting salary of $75,000 per year with the potential for a six-figure income after five years. New hire training will be conducted in-person at the Phoenix, AZ campus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in credit report; if in rehabilitation program, credit report must reflect current, not delinquent, payments.
• Outstanding time management skills, including prioritizing competing priorities while traveling.
• Clear communication skills (in person, written, phone) and well-developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed; volunteering for new challenges and taking ownership.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule, including potential evening and/or weekend availability for some events.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Relevant industry-related professional experience (enrollment, recruiting, counseling).
• Experience working with CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and implementing event/activity plans for the territory to build awareness of online academic programs in education, healthcare, and business, and to drive inquiry generation.
• Shaping high-impact partnerships for the territory and executing daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails.
• Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners on their enrollment journey through various mediums (in-person, phone, email).
• Championing the GCE mission and promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
• Working independently to support prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process and guiding them toward a successful online learning experience.
