About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Alexandria, VA territory in a unique military community-based opportunity. This role involves supporting Grand Canyon University students by providing educational, operational, and technological support services. The Account Executive will play an integral role in guiding students from application through to the completion of their initial classes, focusing on education, healthcare, and business programs. This is a community-based role with ambitious targets, requiring independent work and critical thinking to guide prospective students through the admissions process and towards a successful online learning experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
• Outstanding time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing priorities even while traveling.
• Clear communication skills (in person, in writing, and on the phone) and well-developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed; volunteering for new challenges and taking ownership.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Relevant industry-related professional experience (enrollment, recruiting, counseling).
• Experience working with CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and implementing event/activity plans for the territory to build awareness of online academic programs and drive inquiry generation.
• Shaping high-impact partnerships for the territory and executing daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails.
• Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners on their journey to enrollment through various mediums (in-person, phone, email).
• Championing the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
• Supporting prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process and guiding them towards a successful online learning experience.
