About The Position

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Ft. Drum - Watertown, NY territory. This is a unique military community-based opportunity within a rapidly growing educational service company that supports the post-secondary education sector. The role involves working closely with Grand Canyon University (GCU) to benefit students and the community. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report. If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments.
• Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities, even while traveling.
• Clear communication skills (in person, written, and phone) and well-developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed; volunteering for new challenges.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy.
• A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated success in outside business development, consultative sales, or account management over the past 3+ years.
• Relevant industry-related professional experience (enrollment, recruiting, counseling).
• Experience working with CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Consistently identifying and implementing event/activity plans for your territory to build awareness of online academic programs in education, healthcare, and business, and drive inquiry generation.
• Shaping high-impact partnerships for your territory and executing daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.
• Providing exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families, and partners on their journey to enrollment through various mediums (in-person, phone, email).
• Championing the GCE mission, promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.
• Supporting prospective Grand Canyon University students through the admissions process and guiding them towards a successful online learning experience, working independently and using critical thinking skills.
