JOT Digital is a Calgary-based Technology Advisory and Implementation firm that partners with mid-market organizations undergoing digital transformation. Our practices span AI-Led App Modernization, Cloud Platforms, Cybersecurity and Microsoft Dynamics ERP, giving us the technical depth to deliver end-to-end solutions and the consulting maturity to align them to business outcomes. JOT serves organizations primarily in the $20M – $500M revenue range across Western Canada, operating as a trusted strategic advisor that aligns technology decisions to business outcomes. AI is rapidly reshaping how mid-market organizations operate, and our clients are looking for partners who can help them move beyond pilots and proofs-of-concept into production. AI-Led App Modernization and Cloud Platforms are where we are growing fastest and where this role will spend most of its energy: modernizing legacy applications into AI-enabled cloud-native platforms, building intelligent solutions on Azure and AWS, embedding AI into everyday business workflows and turning data into the kind of decisions that move the business. JOT is a Microsoft and AWS partner. JOT is growing, and we are hiring an Account Executive focused on new client acquisition and account growth across Calgary and Western Canada. We believe success follows when you do the right things: build trust, understand the business problem and deliver real value. This role is for someone who is excited about opening new doors, building relationships from scratch, understanding what clients are actually trying to accomplish and helping them harness AI, cloud and modern enterprise technology to move faster, work smarter and grow. You will own opportunities end-to-end, from first conversation through close, supported by a brilliant technical team. The role blends business development, account management and partner engagement inside a collaborative, low-ego environment. The role is calibrated for an experienced intermediate with a strong Calgary network and the instincts to use it well.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software or technology sales, including selling services, consulting or solutions across the Microsoft, AWS or broader cloud and enterprise technology ecosystem
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales targets and quota commitments
  • Working knowledge of solution selling or consultative selling methodologies
  • Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • A real network in Calgary's downtown business community, with established relationships across decision-makers in mid-market and enterprise organizations
  • Confidence engaging both business and technical stakeholders, from executives to IT and data teams, and the ability to translate between them
  • Strong consultative selling instincts: you listen first, build trust quickly and follow through
  • A track record of owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
  • Familiarity with how organizations buy technology services, including procurement, RFP and multi-stakeholder buying cycles
  • Curiosity about technology and the energy to keep learning across a fast-moving AI, cloud and enterprise technology landscape
  • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience selling cloud, AI, application modernization or cybersecurity solutions on Azure, AWS or comparable enterprise technology stacks
  • Background within a consulting firm or systems integrator
  • Existing relationships within Microsoft, AWS or other relevant partner ecosystems in Alberta

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage organizations across Calgary and Western Canada where JOT can make a meaningful impact
  • Build relationships with senior decision-makers and executives across Calgary's downtown business community
  • Develop relationships through in-person meetings and leverage virtual selling tools (video conferencing, digital demos, webinars and virtual events) to drive engagement, accelerate deal cycles and maintain consistent client touchpoints
  • Lead discovery conversations across AI, cloud, ERP and application modernization to understand client goals and articulate how the right technology solutions can accelerate their business
  • Prepare proposals and presentations, working closely with our technical and practice leads to shape solutions that are both credible and commercially compelling
  • Support key client engagements and executive-level discussions to advance complex opportunities through to close
  • Expand opportunities within existing client accounts through trusted, long-term relationships
  • Identify new opportunities for expansion, renewal and service attach across client segments
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction and ongoing value realization
  • Act as the client's advocate inside JOT
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date opportunity records and related data in our CRM
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and business cadence meetings to maintain sales momentum
  • Oversee opportunity qualification, quote validation and margin setup for accuracy and timeliness
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on pipeline health, sales activity and performance against targets
  • Work closely with JOT's partner ecosystem, including Microsoft, AWS and other technology partners, to build joint opportunities, co-sell and go-to-market together
  • Stay current with our partners' evolving priorities across AI, cloud, data and enterprise applications so you can position our services effectively
  • Represent JOT at local and industry events, partner community meetups and networking opportunities
  • Help tell our story: what we do, why it matters and how we help clients turn technology investments into measurable results
